Sponsored "Button Up Vermont" workshop

Prepared brochures for town residents on such topics as Vermont's Fuel Assistance Program, Stretching Your Food Dollars, Preparing a Household Budget, Saving Food Dollars With Coupons.  

Participated as one of the ten sites in the State in the Vermont Community Energy Mobilization Project.  

Prepared and mailed to every home in town a flier on ways to save energy.  

Received a grant from the New England Grass Roots Environmental Fund to cover costs of town wide flier and other advocacy work.

Participated in VCEM.  Continue to offer energy visits to home owners.
 
Working with towns of Plainfield and Marshfield on getting a CVTA bus to run on US 2 from Montpelier to Marshfield and back.
 
Co-sponsored workshop on solar hot water.
 
Published and distributed energy information pamphlet to all East Montpelier residents.
 
Sponsored two Button Up workshops
 
Have organized the town of East Montpelier into 25 neighborhood groups to facilitate rapid communication on topics of interest and to announce events.
 
Performed energy audit on town office and installed energy efficient light bulbs and insulation.
