The FBSN has become an umbrella org that is working at coordinating sustainability issues in the watershed. We focus largely on communication and education--among other things making sure that folks are aware of projects like the ones the Chelsea Energy Committee has been taking on, but also of broader issues. Our recent emphasis has been on 1) Climate change awareness; 2) the Transition Town Movement; 3) Food and agriculture, especially the building and supporting of local food networks.
