Many communities today are facing threats to health and safety from pipelines, compressor stations, fracking, and other fossil fuel infrastructure. These large scale projects led by powerful corporations can seem impossible to stop, but grassroots organizers and activists are developing powerful resistance strategies and collaborating across town and state borders to protect their communities. Join the New England Grassroots Environment Fund to learn from the community organizers who spearheaded efforts to block the Kinder Morgan Northeast Direct Pipeline in their communities and won! Kathryn Eiseman of Pipeline Awareness Network for the Northeast and Rosemary Wessel of No Fracked Gas in Mass. will share their stories and will discuss effective strategies that other communities can use in their own resistance campaigns. Click here to register!
